How to Create Alert Database
To create Data base you need to To create Data base you need to capture data in CSV (Comma-Separated Values) format.
You can use spreadsheet and save it as CSV file
The file structure Should contains the following fields.
1. Name of favorite
2. Comment
3. Longitude
4. Latitude
5. ZIP Code
6. City
7. Street
8. House number
If any field missing leave it blank, essential fields are: Name, Longitude and Latitude.
We create the Category by saving the Database file with the desired name, i.e: Speed cameras, Hazards, etc.

How to import CSV File to your Device.
To import a .csv file:
On the Destinator Console, click on a Standard Map. This will enable the Installing Map and Favorites
Importer features.
1. Click the Favorites Importer button. The Converter dialog is displayed.
2. Select the .csv file, specify a category name, and click the Convert button. The Report Area displays a message stating that the content of the file has been converted and that the file is ready for download.
Download the file to your device by clicking the Download button.
How to Capture New Location.
1. If you know the exact address, in the "Adress" menu type the address (City, Street, House no.), tap the Actions b
utton to select "add to My Favorits" command, choose the correct favorite category group (i.e speed cams) and save it
2. If you dont know the address but you know the location on the map, you can Use the "Map Browsing" option browse to the desired location, tap on the correct spot on the map, in the pop-up menu tap "add to My Favorits" command, choose the correct favorite category group (i.e speed cams) and save.
